Sander Berge has revealed that he’d take a player in Arsenal’s squad over Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Andrea Berta has assembled an exceptional squad for Mikel Arteta, signing eight players over the summer to provide the Spaniard with the tools to compete on multiple fronts.
The Gunners now sit top of the Premier League table after seven matches, meaning this approach of stocking up on talent is being justified.
Arteta has sensational options across the pitch in every department, with some arguably amongst the best in the world in their position.

Sander Berge says he’d start Martin Odegaard and sell Erling Haaland
Several Arsenal players have gone away on international duty this week ahead of a crucial set of World Cup qualifiers.
However, Martin Odegaard will remain in North London after sustaining an MCL injury against West Ham at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
The Norwegian will be absent for his nation’s key qualifier against Israel on Saturday evening, as Stale Solbakken’s side bid to secure their spot at the major tournament for the first time since 1998.
Solbakken has a talented squad at his disposal these days, boasting the likes of Odegaard, Haaland, Fulham midfielder Sander Berge and Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth.
Speaking to Norwegian outlet TV2 Sport on TikTok, Berge was asked to compare his aforementioned trio of international teammates.
“Start, bench, sell – Odegaard, Haaland, Sorloth,” the interviewer asked.
“No, that’s rude,” Berge replied in jest.
“Okay, let’s start… Martin. You have to get money from Erling and build a team. Alex is great — we can swap him out.”

When might Martin Odegaard return from injury for Arsenal?
Arsenal haven’t yet revealed when fans can expect to see Odegaard back in action.
The North London club have merely indicated that he’ll ‘continue to be assessed’ and it’s likely that there simply isn’t an official diagnosis yet.
That said, an injury expert has chimed in on Odegaard’s setback, claiming that a grade three MCL, which would keep him out for in excess of six weeks, appears unlikely.
Physio Scout on X believes a grade one or two sprain ‘seems more plausible’ based on the reporting and the nature of the injury.
A grade one generally has a recovery time of one to three weeks, while a grade two of this variety of fitness issue generally leads to three to six weeks out.
Thus, Odegaard could be back in time for Arsenal’s game against Fulham straight after the international break, or he could miss the Gunners’ next four league matches.
