The second international break of the 2025/26 season is here, and several Arsenal players are set to be on duty.
Time is flying, as another international break comes around following the September break in play.
Mikel Arteta will wish for the safe return of his players, as the Arsenal squad embarks on October international duty sitting top of the Premier League.
With trips to Asia, World Cup Qualifiers and friendlies to tend to, there’s no time to rest for those heading off to represent their countries.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the Arsenal players featuring on international duty this month.

England – Myles Lewis-Skelly, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice
Myles Lewis-Skelly’s minutes have been limited at Arsenal, but that hasn’t stopped Thomas Tuchel from calling the 19-year-old up.
Eberechi Eze will also have the chance to impress, as will Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, who missed out in September due to injury.

Spain – Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, David Raya
Mikel Merino scored a hat-trick during the September international break and will be eager to wow Luis de la Fuente again.
David Raya will hope to usurp Unai Simon as Spain’s number one, while Martin Zubimendi will want to strengthen his place in the pecking order ahead of Rodri.

Netherlands – Jurrien Timber
Jurrien Timber is one of Arsenal’s best players, but he’s still not a starter for the Netherlands.

Sweden – Viktor Gyokeres
Currently on a six-game scoring lull, Viktor Gyokeres has his sights set on finding the back of the net during Sweden’s fixtures.

France – William Saliba
Fresh after signing his new Arsenal contract, William Saliba will join up with the France squad after missing out on September duty due to injury.

Leandro Trossard was poor for Belgium in September, having a point to prove to Rudi Garcia over the October break.

Brazil – Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhaes
Brazil made history over the September break for being the worst edition of the Selecao in World Cup Qualifying history.
Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes will be the Arsenal representatives on duty over the October break, with Brazil travelling to Asia for their friendly fixtures.

Italy – Riccardo Calafiori
Riccardo Calafiori has been called up to the Italy squad, which will undoubtedly trigger some anxiety back at Arsenal given his injury record.
Calafiori has been one of Arsenal’s best early into the season, and will be desperate to make his mark for his country.

Denmark – Christian Norgaard
Christian Norgaard will be eager to get the ball rolling this season after starting the campaign with an injury.

England U21 – Ethan Nwaneri
Ethan Nwaneri has been called up to the England U21 squad for the October international break, still awaiting a senior call-up.

England U19 – Khari Ranson, Max Dowman
Max Dowman was incredible for England U19 during the September break, making his call-up no surprise.
The 15-year-old prodigy will join goalkeeper Khari Ranson on duty this month.
