Santi Cazorla is an all-time favourite of many Arsenal fans and he’s now named a trio of former Gunners in his best ever XI.
Cazorla was one of the most creative players Arsenal have had in the last two decades but saw part of his career cut short through injury.
Nevertheless, Cazorla played with some wonderful players for both Arsenal and Spain and in naming the best XI he’d played alongside, he went with three former Gunners.
Which England player are YOU taking out of the squad to find room for Max Dowman this summer?
The three Arsenal players Santi Cazorla named in his all-time XI
Cazorla was lucky enough to play alongside some of the very best Arsenal players of the last 20 years or so and that’s shown in his selection here.
Speaking on Diaro Sport’s TikTok channel, Cazorla named his top XI and in doing so, picked an Arsenal player in defence, midfield and attack.
Laurent Koscielny was the one given the nod at centre-back, while in midfield, he picked Mesut Ozil alongside Xavi, Iniesta and David Silva.
Finally, picking his striker, Cazorla opted to go with giant striker Olivier Giroud to lead the line.
Other big names included in Cazorla’s XI were David Villa and Carles Puyol.
Santi Cazorla’s stats as an Arsenal player
Few players can claim to be as gifted as Cazorla when it comes to pure technical ability with a football.
The Spaniard could run the game from anywhere on the field and at times made things look far simpler than they actually were.

But for his horrible injury, he might well have been an Arsenal all-timer, given he managed 180 appearances anyway before that achilles issue.
He scored 29 goals and contributed a further 45 assists in those appearances, very much proving his brilliance.
Indeed, for Cazorla to recognise three former Arsenal teammates in his best XI is testament to how he feels about that period of his career.
