Former Manchester United boss and the Premier League’s greatest ever manager Sir Alex Ferguson has heaped praise on Arsenal star Kieran Tierney.
The Scotsman, currently injured, is one of our most important players. He has been absolutely outstanding for us whenever he has played, and his quality will certainly excite all Scotland fans ahead of this summer’s Euros.
Sir Alex, a Scotsman himself, has revealed that he’s really optimistic. He believes that the Scotland side have a lot of quality – especially Tierney, who he claims has been ‘absolutely fantastic’.
He told Scotland National Team’s official YouTube channel: “I am optimistic. I look at the midfield players and I think they are as good as anyone, players playing in England – and Tierney has been fantastic at Arsenal, absolutely fantastic.”

It’s just a shame for Scotland that they have two absolutely world-class players – Tierney and Robertson – in the same position.
The Arsenal man, as a result, is forced to play as a left centre-back for his national side, but that hasn’t stopped him from being brilliant. He was absolutely outstanding in the last international break – so much so, that Scotland fans preferred him over Robertson. (Read here)
Arsenal fans are hoping that Tierney will return to full fitness ASAP. If he starts for us, our chances of winning a game will increase considerably, and Mikel Arteta will be praying that he can come back before the end of this season.
