Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has broken his silence after suffering a season-ending ACL injury.

Just as Jesus was rediscovering his form, the Brazilian was struck with yet another injury to his knee.

After undergoing surgery on his knee in 2024, the striker then suffered an ACL rupture on the opposite side, bringing his 2024/25 campaign to a close just as it began.

Arsenal confirmed that Jesus suffered an ACL injury following the Gunners’ defeat to Manchester United, with thoughts going out to the spirited 27-year-old.

Gabriel Jesus breaks silence after ACL injury

The timing of the Brazil international’s injury was terrible, as his Arsenal teammates revealed just how hard Jesus had been working in training to rediscover his form.

Before the injury, Jesus had scored six goals in seven games, with the news a massive blow to the player and Arsenal’s attack.

The Arsenal squad showed support for Jesus by wearing customised shirts for the number nine, in what was a heartbreaking injury for the 2022 signing to endure.

Now, the 27-year-old has broken his silence on the season-ending injury, taking to Instagram to send a powerful 20-word message to his supporters.

“There will always be answers to everything, which we will only know later on. I believe and trust in God,” Jesus captioned a photo of him leaving the hospital on crutches.

Tributes to the Brazilian poured in, as some notable names wished the striker well on his road to recovery.
