Takehiro Tomiyasu says it’s a ‘nightmare’ to play against one Arsenal player in training

Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has hailed Bukayo Saka and explained how it is to play with and against him.

The Gunners have a solid squad right now, with many of our first-team players among the best in the Premier League. Saka is definitely right up there, and Tomiyasu appears to be a big fan of him.

Arsenal‘s right-hand side of the pitch is one of the most dangerous in the Premier League thanks to Bukayo Saka and whoever plays at right-back – either Takehiro Tomiyasu or Ben White.

The Gunners have had a lot of joy against teams, and most of our attacks come from that side of the pitch.

Ben White has already raved about Saka, explaining how his life becomes so much easier when he plays at right-back because of the 22-year-old’s brilliance.

Tomiyasu has now said the same, and he has also revealed how difficult it is to play against Saka as well as Gabriel Martinelli on the opposite side in training.

He told talkSPORT: “He (Saka) makes my life easier. I had the assist in the game against Wolves, but for me, I didn’t do anything, I just gave him the ball and then he made it. He makes my life easier.”

When asked about facing Saka on the training ground at London Colney, he said: “Yeah, a nightmare!

“Not only him, because when I play as a right full-back, I play against Martinelli. Obviously, he’s one of the best wingers and he’s one of the most toughest opponents for me.”

Saka and Martinelli will be key for Arsenal vs Aston Villa

Arsenal are on top of the Premier League table, and we can extend our lead there tomorrow when we take on Aston Villa.

Unai Emery‘s men have been sensational this season. They are currently third in the table, above Manchester City after convincingly beating them earlier this week.

It will be a really tough game for Arsenal tomorrow, and once again, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli‘s performances on the wings will be key for us.

If they have a good game, we should be able to come away with a win.
