Bukayo Saka has been out of action at Arsenal since before Christmas.
The Englishman is Mikel Arteta’s most important player. He has been incredible for the Gunners for many years now, and he was having a fine campaign in 2024/25 as well.
However, a hamstring injury in the game against Crystal Palace in December turned out to be a serious one, and he had to undergo surgery.
Saka is still a fair bit away from making his comeback, but there is some good news for Arsenal fans who are awaiting his return.
When Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is set to return from his injury
There have been several conflicting reports over when Saka will be fit again.
Arsenal have not communicated anything officially since he underwent surgery, while Arteta has also refused to put a date on his return.
Initial reports claimed that Saka would be back in action in February, while others claimed that a return to the squad in March is more realistic.
However, the Mirror now report that the Arsenal number seven is actually expected to be back after the international break in March.
That means his first game back in action will be on the 1st of April – nearly three-and-a-half months after he suffered his injury.
Along with Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, who is also injured, is set to return to the squad on the same date too, giving Arsenal a massive double boost.
Arteta will be hoping that Saka and Martinelli’s returns in April will give Arsenal the boost they need to go all the way in the Premier League title race.

The nine Arsenal games Bukayo Saka is expected to be fit to play in
Arsenal fans would love to have Saka back in action for the game against West Ham United this weekend, but that, unfortunately, will not happen.
Gooners will have to wait a few weeks longer.
If the report from the Mirror is to be believed, Saka could be back on the 1st of April, which means he will miss the next six games in the Premier League and also two in the Champions League.
However, he should be back available for the final nine league games of the season. Those fixtures are:
| Date | Fixture |
| April 1, 2025 | Arsenal vs Fulham |
| April 5, 2025 | Everton vs Arsenal |
| April 12, 2025 | Arsenal vs Brentford |
| April 19, 2025 | Ipswich vs Arsenal |
| April 26, 2025 | Arsenal vs Crystal Palace |
| May 3, 2025 | Arsenal vs Bournemouth |
| May 10, 2025 | Liverpool vs Arsenal |
| May 18, 2025 | Arsenal vs Newcastle |
| May 25, 2025 | Southampon vs Arsenal |
Saka could also be available for the quarter-finals of the Champions League and beyond if Arsenal manage to qualify for that stage of the competition.
Having the Englishman back for the final stretch of the campaign is a massive boost for Arteta and his side.
If they are in touching distance of Liverpool by that point, there’s every chance they can pip them to the Premier League title.
