Jakub Kiwior has silenced many of his doubters at Arsenal recently.
The Poland international has been a Gunner for over two years now, and he has only been a backup in the first-team under Mikel Arteta.
But, after Gabriel Magalhaes suffered a season-ending injury, Arsenal had no choice but to deploy the former Spezia man in the heart of their defence.
Arsenal fans were really concerned about Kiwior facing Real Madrid, but the Pole stepped up and dealt with Carlo Ancelotti’s superstar attackers without any trouble.
Everyone is delighted with Kiwior right now, but people inside Arsenal still have one problem with him.
What Arsenal insiders are struggling with when working with Jakub Kiwior
It’s never easy for a foreign player to come to a big Premier League club like Arsenal and adapt immediately.
Kiwior had played in Italy before, which is not his home country, but the move to England still had its own challenges.
The Pole had to learn the language, adapt to the new culture and form relationships with his teammates and everyone else at the club.
The defender has done as well as he can over the last two years, and Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of Kiwior because of his ability on the pitch.
But, The Sun reveal now that people inside the club still find the Poland international reserved and have problems with making him speak up.
“Kiwior is known as one of the quieter members of the Arsenal dressing room, with club sources struggling to get more than a few words out of him at times – hardly a character and a personality that Arteta requires and demands,” the report said.

What Jakub Kiwior is thinking about his Arsenal future
Kiwior must be enjoying life right now.
The Pole spent most of this season on the bench, playing very little football. But, he is a regular starter now and completely deserves his place.
However, Kiwior knows that he will lose his spot in the side once Gabriel Magalhaes returns from his injury at the start of next season.
That’s probably why he wants to leave the club this summer.
The report claims that Kiwior is ‘keen on a return to Italy for regular first-team action’, with Serie A giants Napoli and AC Milan both interested in his services.
It remains to be seen how much Arsenal will demand to let him go, especially if he plays and helps the club win the Champions League this season.
