Arsenal have had a really impressive summer transfer window so far, and that’s all thanks to Andrea Berta.

The Gunners needed reinforcements in multiple areas of their pitch, and the pressure was on their new sporting director, who was only appointed at the end of March.

Berta was tasked with signing a new striker among other recruits, and he also had to tie down some of the club’s key players to new contracts.

So far, the Italian has done an incredible job, and Arsenal’s decision-makers are impressed.

Edu Gaspar was a good director, but the Brazilian never managed to get nearly all of his key targets through the door weeks before the start of the Premier League season.

Berta is a lot different to Edu, and the Italian’s brilliant work at the Emirates proves it.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres have all been brought in already, and they’ve made Arsenal significantly stronger.

Fans are absolutely delighted with the job Berta has done so far, and ESPN have revealed that the key decision-makers at the club have been blown away too.

The report claims that some senior figures at the Emirates keep joking that Berta doesn’t even sleep – that’s how much his work ethic has impressed those behind the scenes.

The 53-year-old has led the negotiations on most deals this summer, and his ‘clear and regular communication’ with the Arsenal hierarchy has gone down very well.

Not many Arsenal fans would’ve predicted that their club would complete six new signings before the start of August, but Andrea Berta has made that happen.

The Gunners should back themselves to go all the way in the title race now, and there is no reason why they cannot win it this term.

However, there are a few players who can make Arsenal even stronger ahead of the start of the new campaign – Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace, AC Milan star Rafael Leao and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.

If Berta can sign one of the above three names, this will become a 10/10 window for Arsenal.
