Arsenal are now just one game away from winning the Champions League for the very first time in their history.

Mikel Arteta’s side have produced an extraordinary European campaign and booked their place in the final after beating Atletico Madrid over two legs.

Victory against PSG in Budapest would not only cement this Arsenal team’s place in history, but it would also be hugely lucrative for the club. However, the players themselves are also set to benefit significantly if they get over the line.

Stan Kroenke and Arsenal’s hierarchy have put together an impressive bonus structure to reward success in Europe this season, claims The Times.

Arsenal players are in line for huge bonuses if they beat PSG in the Champions League final

Arsenal’s journey to the Champions League final has already generated enormous income for the club.

The Gunners posted record revenues of £691 million last season, and those figures are expected to increase again after this year’s European run.

By reaching the final alone, Arsenal are believed to have brought in around £124 million through UEFA prize money, broadcasting revenue and commercial income linked to the competition.

That total is reportedly around £26 million more than what the club earned from Europe during the previous campaign.

The winners of the Champions League are expected to receive an extra £9 million, including the financial reward attached to qualifying for the UEFA Super Cup.

Arsenal’s players will also receive major rewards for helping the club reach this stage.

The report claims that members of the squad could each earn bonuses worth roughly £125,000 if they feature in the final and Arsenal lift the trophy.

The financial rewards have not only been reserved for the final either.

Players are believed to have received bonuses of around £25,000 per leg during the semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

Some senior players may also have triggered additional clauses worth between £750,000 and £1 million for helping Arsenal qualify for this season’s Champions League through last year’s league campaign.

Arsenal players will also be heavily rewarded if they win the Premier League

The Champions League is not the only major prize Arsenal are chasing right now.

Arteta’s side are still top of the Premier League table heading into the final stretch of the season.

If the Gunners complete the double, it would go down as arguably the greatest campaign in the club’s modern history.

Given the scale of Arsenal’s financial success this season, there will almost certainly be further bonus payments tied to winning the league title as well.

The report claims that each player could earn as much as £6,000 per appearance. That means someone like David Raya, who has played every game, will earn about £228,000.
