Theo Walcott claims that Noni Madueke has proven to be a ‘revelation’ under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal this season following his controversial move from Chelsea.
Many suggested that Madueke might fail at Arsenal, having not shown a lot at Chelsea, but the 24-year-old has been key in the Gunners’ title bid.
POV: You’re Mikel Arteta, are you dropping Bukayo Saka for Noni Madueke?
The former Chelsea attacker has already produced several decisive moments for Arsenal since joining and has been a joy to watch.
Walcott has now been speaking about the attacker and explained why he’s been pleasantly surprised by him this season.

Theo Walcott has been so impressed by Noni Madueke and believes that he has been a ‘revelation’ at Arsenal this season.
Bukayo Saka now has a player who can push him for a starting spot, and when Madueke does return from injury, the Arsenal vice captain will have to watch out.
Mikel Arteta now has the chance to switch up his attack, given how good the winger has been, and he can even start in most of the big games.
When discussing the Gunners’ squad, Walcott opted to highlight Madueke as a player he loves to watch due to how positive he is with the ball.
“Do you know the one I really love watching all the time? Madueke. I love watching him because every time he gets it, he doesn’t know what you’re going to do.
“Yeah. And that’s great because he’s so unpredictable, but like he’s so positive, and I think that’s the first mindset for him, positive, and I think he’s been an absolute revelation at Arsenal.”
Be honest. How worried are you about Arsenal’s treble chances after Noni Madueke’s injury?
Walcott is spot on as Madueke always looks to drive at opposition defences and is such a positive influence when Arteta has called upon him.
As a strong example, Madueke changed the game against Bayer Leverkusen last month as he won a penalty, highlighting the impact he can have for the Gunners.
In the final few months, Madueke is likely to play a key role in Arsenal’s bid for major silverware, and he will be hopeful of forcing his way into the team on a more regular basis.
