Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has now been responding to the idea of Kylian Mbappe joining the club this coming summer.
Mikel Arteta’s side are often linked with a new striker, with Ivan Toney being the name most often mentioned.

But with Arsenal thought to be in a strong financial position to progress their squad this summer, a lot of fans would love to see Kylian Mbappe through the door.
And who better to ask about that move than Thierry Henry?
Mbappe is often compared to the French legend, who he could potentially follow to North London one day.
However, any move would be incredibly hard to conclude, partly because Mbappe’s wages would probably destroy the club’s current structure.
That being said, Henry was asked to respond to the idea of Mbappe joining Arsenal when appearing on CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage last night.
The Arsenal legend was asked if he had any inside info on Mbappe’s next club, which he then strongly suggested otherwise.
Thierry Henry says he has no idea if Kylian Mbappe will be joining Arsenal
Responding to presenter Kate Abdo’s questions, Henry said: “What are you looking at me for?”
The Arsenal legend was then pressed for an answer, he responded: “I don’t know, really. I don’t have those insights.

“No I don’t, I don’t know where he’s going to go like everybody.”
Of course, it’s not too much of a surprise that Henry hasn’t heard anything just yet.
Whilst credible reports have suggested that Mbappe would be willing to join Arsenal, little has happened in the way of a bid.
In fact, Arsenal have actually been warned against a move by some pundits, given how disruptive his wages could prove.
Moreover, whilst the Arsenal faithful would surely love to see Mbappe attempt to become the next Henry at the Emirates, they’ll probably understand the feasibility of any move.
And as stated, perhaps the exploration of either Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen will be much better advised.
