Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has been in excellent form when he has played this season, but he has been unfortunate with injuries.
The Brazilian started the season injured, before making a heroic return to score against Manchester United, and after a strong run of games, he picked up another injury as he delivered a masterclass away at Sevilla in the Champions League.
Jesus has missed the last few games as a result, and question marks are being raised over Arsenal’s forwards, amidst links with Ivan Toney of Brentford.
Arsenal’s greatest ever forward Thierry Henry has now given his verdict on Gabriel Jesus’ ability to lead the line for Arsenal.
Thierry Henry highlights Gabriel Jesus problem
Speaking on CBS Sports after Arsenal’s Champions League victory over Sevilla last night, Henry praised Jesus, but highlighted his injury issues as a concern.
“The only problem with Gabriel Jesus is that he often gets injured, not only for him but for us,” Henry stated of the striker.
Jesus may return after the international break, and he will be hoping to put his fitness issues to bed and consistently lead the line for Arsenal.
Can Gabriel Jesus be Arsenal’s main man?

Gary Neville recently claimed that Arsenal need another striker, with Jesus an ideal second-choice option, but it depends what kind of striker is available.
Jesus suits Arsenal’s style more than Toney, who has been linked with a mega-money move to the Emirates, and when he is fit and firing at his best, Jesus is one of the best strikers in the world, and was described as “unbelievable” by teammate Gabriel Martinelli.
His injuries have been a frustration, with Jesus picking up a long-term one at the World Cup last year which prompted the signing of Leandro Trossard, but Arsenal do have depth options in Eddie Nketiah, Kai Havertz and the Belgian.
Arsenal have struggled to create chances this season, but if they are able to sort their midfield issues out, and keep Jesus fit, then he certainly has the ability to lead Arsenal to major trophies.
