Arsenal have been one of the best teams in Europe so far this season.
The Gunners are currently nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and are also on the verge of reaching the semi-final of the Champions League after beating Sporting CP 1-0 in the first leg of the quarter-final.
Winning both competitions would make this a historic season for Arsenal, and Thierry Henry has praised the solidity of this side.
Furthermore, Henry also addressed all the undeserved criticism his old side gets for their brilliance from set-pieces.

Thierry Henry says people are ‘crying’ about Arsenal scoring from set-pieces
Arsenal’s set-pieces are of the highest level.
Nicolas Jover has turned the Gunners into a force from corners and free-kicks, and the Gunners have the ability to score from such situations regularly.
That trait should be praised, like it was when Liverpool were good at set-pieces many years ago, but Arsenal have constantly been criticised for the same by most pundits.
Henry has now jumped to his old club’s defence and claimed that corners and free-kicks are a part of football.
When asked to name the one strength and weakness Arsenal have right now, he said on CBS Sports, as per The Metro: “We know their biggest strength already, they are strong as a team and very solid.
“For me, they are the most solid team in the Champions League.
“We also know about the set-pieces – people are crying about that. But it’s a part of the game and a big advantage for Arsenal because they’re pretty good at it.
“But if the defence doesn’t work, I don’t think we are creating enough at times to be able to hurt teams, and that might be an issue.”

Henry is absolutely right with his comments.
Set-pieces are a big strength, and Arsenal should continue being brilliant at them. People ‘crying’ about it should not have any impact on their thinking.
As for the weakness, Henry is spot on again. The Gunners aren’t creating as many clear-cut chances as they should, and that is a problem.
Arsenal’s defence will bail them out more often than not, but at times when they are not at their best – like against Manchester City and Southampton in the cups – it becomes a major issue.
That is something Mikel Arteta needs to address right away.
