The international break has turned attention away from Arsenal’s position in the Premier League title race momentarily, but Thierry Henry’s focus remains on the Gunners.
Henry won the Premier League twice at Arsenal, scoring 175 league goals in the process.
If there’s one Arsenal legend that players of Mikel Arteta’s squad today look up to, it’s the Frenchman, who has all the faith that the Gunners can now deliver a long overdue title to N5.
Though some believe Arsenal are getting nervous about Manchester City’s emergence, Henry thinks that Arteta’s side has a quality that sets them apart from others in the race.

Thierry Henry says Arsenal are ahead of their title rivals in a key area
Only 11 games have been played this season in the Premier League, but the margins for error are so small that the title race is already believed to have been narrowed to a two-club fight.
Though Erling Haaland will pose a problem for Arsenal, given his freakish form for Man City, Henry firmly believes that his former club have something that other sides are lacking.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Henry analysed the Gunners, sharing what he believes is the ‘difference’ between Arsenal and others chasing the title.
“The difference so far is how solid we have been, and rightly so,” Henry said.
Arsenal’s record goalscorer elaborated, stating that the defensive strength doesn’t begin and end with the back four.
“You’re going to have to mention some guys at the back, and people do mention them, but it’s the way the team defends. I keep on saying that if you don’t defend well as a unit, you’re going to be exposed to conceding goals.”
If there’s one thing that’s a consistent takeaway from Arsenal’s performances this season, it’s that the entire team are going to work tirelessly to limit the threat of the opposition.
As Henry stressed, this isn’t just a matter placed in the back four, as even Viktor Gyokeres has been praised for his pressing work, leading by example from the front.
No Arsenal player is exempt from putting in a defensive shift, and it might just win the Gunners the Premier League.
Henry says what everyone is thinking about Arsenal right now
Henry thinks Arsenal will win the league, strongly backing the club of his heart to go all the way at long last.
After praising the Gunners’ defensive unity, the club legend shared what ‘everyone’ thinks about Arsenal’s title chances right now.

“Everyone believes, everyone thinks that it can be the year, so hopefully I’m not going to jinx it,” Henry said.
“That’s all I hope for Mikel, that’s all I hope for the team, all I hope for the fans and hopefully we can finally win a title again.”
If Arteta were to deliver the title, it would be the first Premier League title win since the Invincibles in 2003/04, revealing just how high the stakes are.
