Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was spotted in attendance during another FIFA Club World Cup meeting in midweek.

The Frenchman, who spent over 20 years with the Gunners, is now part of the FIFA board in his latest job opportunity.

Arsene Wenger’s position surrounds the globalisation of the game, which will include the impact of the Club World Cup.

While Arsenal aren’t involved in the Club World Cup, there has been plenty to view from some Gunners past and present.

Fabio Vieira crashed out with Porto in the group stages, but there has been more interest in former players Jorginho and Olivier Giroud and their sides.

Arsene Wenger meets up with Olivier Giroud and Jorginho during the Club World Cup

Some former Arsenal stars have been busy in Club World Cup action, including both Jorginho and Olivier Giroud.

Jorginho left Arsenal as a free agent this summer, joining Brazilian outfit Flamengo as part of a new journey.

His start to life there has been impressive, as he helped them register wins over ES Tunis and Chelsea during the first two group games.

As for Giroud and LAFC, it has been a bit tougher, as two defeats came in the first two games, with little game time for the striker.

In the final group game, the two faced off, but only from the bench as the two teams played out a 1-1 draw, with late goals on either side.

With the group stage essentially wrapped up, the two former Arsenal players shared a moment before the game.

They were also spotted speaking with Arsene Wenger in a moment that connected several generations of the club.

While one is a former Arsenal manager, could the other two soon follow in his footsteps?

Jorginho and Olivier Giroud could follow Arsenal coaching route

While Arsenal have produced some top players over the years, they have also managed to produce some top coaches.

Mikel Arteta is a prime example, while Patrick Vieira continues to ply his trade in Italy with Genoa.

There is now a new generation of young coaches coming through, with Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere looking to make their mark.

Not far behind them could be the pairing of Giroud and Jorginho.

While it’s unclear if Giroud will enter coaching once he hangs up his boots, Jorginho has looked into coaching for the future.

Both could be the next in line to prove themselves as capable managers, brought through the school of Arsenal.
