Arsenal are just under 24 hours away from their first chance of silverware this season and Martin Odegaard has a message for Gunners fans.

The Arsenal supporters will help pack out Wembley as the team look to pick up the first of what they hope will be four trophies this season.

With so much at stake, captain Martin Odegaard knows it will need everyone pulling in the same direction and the skipper has sent a message to the Arsenal fans.

If you’re Mikel Arteta, who are you starting at right-back in the Carabao Cup final – Jurrien Timber or Ben White?

Whether or not Odegaard is involved, remains to be seen but the skipper will be important whether he plays or not.

Crucially, the fans will also play a big part and Odegaard has told the Gunners supporters to make themselves heard.

“Just bring the noise, you know. I think that’s key now,” Odegaard said on TikTok.

“We want to feel them from the first minute and we want to do this together so yes, we need them to be on fire. And then we will bring the noise on the pitch.”

Arsenal’s record in cup finals since the year 2000

Arsenal’s record in this particular competition is not too inspiring, especially when we look at the last 25 years.

The Gunners have made it to three finals over that period of time but have never won, while they’re also zero and three in European finals in that same time span.

Thankfully, Arsenal have been good in the FA Cup and have won six of their eight FA Cup finals since the year 2000.

Of course, Mikel Arteta’s last trip to Wembley with Arsenal is faultless.

Arteta won the FA Cup in 2020, before coming out on top in two community shield matches against Liverpool that same year and then Man City in 2023.
