Arsenal released a fitness update on their official website today ahead of tonight’s game against Southampton.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang misses out as expected, while Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari are not ready just yet. That isn’t a massive problem but Arsenal’s next update has left fans hugely disappointed.

Arsenal reveal that Kieran Tierney has a problem in his right calf. It is claimed that his injury is being assessed ahead of tonight’s game, and if he misses out, we’ll be in huge trouble.

Tierney missed our league game against Crystal Palace because of the same injury. Arsenal looked woeful against the Eagles and we were arguably lucky to come away with a draw.

The former Celtic man didn’t feature against Southampton in the FA Cup on Saturday. Arsenal, again, couldn’t create a lot from the left flank and as a result, we were knocked out of the competition.

Southampton host us in the Premier League tonight and if Tierney isn’t available, we will struggle again. Arsenal fans, predictably, are fearing the worst ahead of tonight’s clash.
