Arsenal star Martin Odegaard is working his way back to full fitness.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has had to cope without the services of Martin Odegaard in recent weeks.
The Norwegian playmaker picked up an injury during the last international break. The midfielder has subsequently missed fixtures against Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and PSG, amongst others.
The Gunners have coped well without Odegaard, remaining unbeaten throughout his period on the sidelines. Gabriel Martinelli has stepped up in Odegaard’s absence, whilst Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka have been able to make a number of decisive contributions.
However, Arteta will be keen to have Odegaard back as soon as possible, as his importance to this Arsenal side can scarcely be overstated.

Martin Odegaard makes rehab progress
Odegaard recently gave an update on his own recovery, whilst praising how the team have performed without him.
However, the Norwegian press have reported that Odegaard is still some way short of being able to return to the pitch.
The former Real Madrid man is making progress with his recovery, though.
In a recent video clip shared by the official Arsenal X account, Odegaard was seen running on a treadmill, and could be heard saying: “What a day. Running on the AlterG.”
An AlterG is an ‘anti-gravity treadmill’ that allows people to walk and run with their body weight reduced by the device. This means that less strain is put on the body.
Whilst it is positive that Odegaard is running again, the fact that he cannot yet withstand his full body weight whilst running shows that he still has some way to go before being back to full fitness.
Arsenal fans excited for Odegaard return
Many Arsenal fans on X are eager to see Odegaard back in action.
One said: “I can’t wait to have him back…. missed him so much.”
Another stated: “Having Odegaard back will be a massive boost. See you soon Captain!”
One claimed: “This post is Arsenal sending a threat to the rest of the league. I dig it.”
Another added: “There’s a special flavor that comes with him….that we missed!”
