Ahead of their semi-final triumph, Bukayo Saka suggested Arsenal wanted PSG, and now the Gunners will be looking for revenge after last season’s defeat.
Arsenal want revenge on PSG in the Champions League final
Behind the scenes at Arsenal, the club is discussing the Champions League final as a shot at revenge on Paris Saint-Germain, according to Miguel Delaney.
Last season, Luis Enrique’s team defeated the Gunners 3-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals as they went on to win their first Champions League title.
There was a sense that Arsenal were the better team across the two legs, and now they will have the chance to put things right on May 30.
Speaking about the match-up, Delaney told Inside Football: “Arsenal, if you listen to some at the club, may finally have their chance at revenge.

“They meet Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 Champions League final in Budapest on the 30th of May, having felt that they were still the better team in last season’s semi-final.”
Arsenal will find it tricky to stop PSG’s attack; however, for most of the season, the Gunners have proved their defence is the best in Europe.
Bukayo Saka should be Arsenal’s main man for the Champions League final
The likes of Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will take some stopping, as they found out last season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will be hoping the likes of Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres can step up and make PSG pay with the decisive moment in the final.
Saka could actually be the difference maker for the Gunners in Budapest, especially after his performance against PSG last season.
The winger managed six shots, two dribbles, five crosses, and was fouled three times across the two legs last season.
