Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is leading the way for those aspiring to graduate from Hale End.

The winger was handed a chance by Unai Emery in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since.

A lot has changed since Saka’s Arsenal debut but the forward’s commitment to developing has remained the same.

Now, Saka is considered as one of the world’s best and is flying the flag for those hopeful of earning promotion from Arsenal’s academy

How Bukayo Saka is helping Ethan Nwaneri

Saka has been inspired by several figures at Arsenal and now, the 23-year-old is ready to inspire the next generation.

One of the most talked about talents at Colney right now is Ethan Nwaneri, who has made quite the impression in the first team this season.

Martin Odegaard has offered Nwaneri advice, which is something the 17-year-old is getting a lot of in North London.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Video before Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Manchester United, Saka opened up about how he’s supporting Nwaneri.

“I feel I have to make myself available for him if he needs to speak to me or ask me any questions,” Saka said to former Gunner Theo Walcott.

The winger then went on to make a bold prediction about his teammate’s future, stating that he believes in the teenager.

“Ethan is a top talent, I believe in him and I think he’s going to go to the top.”

How old was Saka when he made his Arsenal debut?

Since making his competitive debut for the Gunners in the Europa League, Saka has made 245 senior appearances and has had a hand in 126 goals.

Such figure seems to be growing every week, which will inspire talents like Nwaneri who are on a similar path to the 23-year-old.

Saka has come a long way since his debut against Vorskla Poltava when he was just 17 years old, with his breakthrough season in 2019/20 coming when he was 18.

Nwaneri has a superb mentor in Saka, who has worn the armband several times for his boyhood club, being a well-loved figure in N5.
