Cesc Fabregas is working wonders with Como over in Serie A and Arsenal fans now have a fresh interest in just how he continues to perform.
Fabregas is being linked with Arsenal this weekend if the club decide to move on from Mikel Arteta at some point.
Speculation on Arteta’s future seems harsh, given the job he has done. Nevertheless, succession planning is always needed and Fabregas is an obvious fit.
As for if the Spaniard would have an interest in joining, it seems like he very much would welcome it.

With Fabregas doing so well at Como, it’s only a matter of time before he does indeed get a move to one of the biggest clubs around.
Arsenal, of course, are one of them. And speaking over a decade ago about a return to The Emirates, Fabregas admitted he very much loves the club.
“Arsenal is in my heart and always will be. I don’t know if I’ll have the opportunity to go back and play there one day, or maybe after football,” Fabregas said back in 2013 to The Guardian.
“It’s a club that is always going to be there and will always open its doors to me. The club’s like a family so even if it wasn’t as a coach, I’m sure they’d give me the chance to play a role.
“Sol [Campbell] is there now. Arsenal help a lot with the formation of coaches. [Dennis] Bergkamp also went there two, three times a week when he was doing his coaching badges. In that sense it’s a lovely club and there might be the chance to do something with them.”
Is Mikel Arteta right to be under pressure?
Some Arsenal fans might argue that Mikel Arteta’s job is secure and they’d not be where they are without him.
However, if he doesn’t go on to win the title this season and they crash out of Europe as well, then there will be certain questions asked of him.
Yes, he has created a culture at Arsenal that has shifted away from the days of the likes of Unai Emery and co, but he has to start winning.
Throwing away the title from the position Arsenal found themselves in would, in some fans’ eyes, be inexcusable.
Unfortunately, Arteta has to deal with this pressure and unless he does deliver a trophy or two, the Gunners board may well pull the trigger.
