Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke shared a good relationship at Chelsea before the latter joined Arsenal in the summer.

The two forwards signed for the Blues in 2023 – Madueke in January from PSV Eindhoven and Jackson later in the summer from La Liga side Villarreal.

Both players had their ups and downs at Chelsea, and in the summer, Madueke left them for Arsenal on a permanent deal, while Jackson joined Bayern Munich on loan.

Now, what Jackson truly felt about Madueke has come to light.

Noni Madueke has surprised many people since joining Arsenal.

The England international has always been a talented player, but there were serious doubts over whether he would be a good fit at the Emirates.

However, Madueke has impressed in every game since he replaced the injured Bukayo Saka, and he is now all set to start against Manchester City on Sunday.

Many Arsenal fans are shocked by how good Madueke really is, but one person who isn’t even a little bit surprised is his former Chelsea teammate Jackson.

That’s because the Senegal international apparently told his agent, Ali Barat, that Madueke was an incredible player after training with him at Chelsea.

Speaking about Madueke’s move to Arsenal, Barat told the Daily Mail: “It’s important to make the right steps. You see with Noni how well it’s going for him at Arsenal at the moment.

“I had dinner with his dad the other day, and I’m so happy for them because they’re such a great family.

“To be honest, the one who told me that Noni was brilliant was Nicolas Jackson. He said: ‘Ali, this kid is so good. Trust me, he’s so good in training.'”

Noni Madueke still hasn’t done one thing at Arsenal but it will happen soon

Madueke has arguably been Arsenal’s best player so far this season.

The England international has looked unplayable in recent games, and the left-backs who have come up against him have really struggled.

Madueke deserves a lot of praise for his performances, but he is yet to provide a direct goal contribution.

That is a shame, but we are convinced that he will open his account in the very near future – it could even happen against Manchester City on Sunday.
