As Ben White once famously said, Arsenal are quite good at football.
The Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League and Champions League tables. They have one foot in the final of the Carabao Cup as well and have also started their FA Cup campaign with a win.
If things go to plan for Mikel Arteta, his Arsenal side could create history by becoming the first club in English football to win the quadruple.
That would make Arsenal’s first team the best footballers this country has ever seen, but how would the same players fare in other sports?
William Saliba thinks one of his teammates could become a basketball great – Gabriel Magalhaes.
Have Arsenal ever had a better defensive partnership than William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes? If yes, tell us who!
William Saliba says Gabriel Magalhaes would be a ‘great NBA player’
Gabriel is one of Arsenal’s best players.
The Brazil international is a leader at the back for the Gunners, and he has become the deadliest threat in world football in attacking set-pieces.
One of Gabriel’s biggest strengths in corners and free-kicks is his ability to leap higher than anyone else inside the box.
That, combined with Nicolas Jover’s tactics, has helped him and Arsenal score many goals over the last two years.

Saliba, who claims to do all the ‘dirty work’ for Gabriel to score, has now said that his centre-back partner could be a hero in basketball too.
In a video released by Amazon Prime Video Sport, the Frenchman was asked to name an Arsenal player who could play in the NBA.
Saliba replied: “Gabriel Magalhaes, because he jumps so high and scores a lot.
“So, I think he would be a great NBA player.”

Arsenal have been compared to a ‘basketball team’
We don’t know if Gabriel would be any good in the NBA, but his height and physicality are certainly assets to Arsenal.
It is no coincidence that the Gunners are the best set-piece team in the world. Arteta has built a team full of giants who are incredible in aerial duels.
That comes as a big surprise to new players – just ask Mikel Merino.
The Spaniard is a tall guy himself, but on his first day as an Arsenal player, he felt tiny and claimed that the Gunners could become a basketball team.
He said, as per The Sun: “It is crazy. I am in the corridors of the training ground just walking, and back at my old club, I used to be one of the tallest, so everyone was smaller than me.
“Now, I look around, and everyone is taller than me. We look like a basketball team.”
