Arsenal fans absolutely love William Saliba.
The France international is one of the best defenders in the world. He has been incredible in the Premier League for over two years now, and he will get even better in the coming seasons.
Saliba is arguably the first name on Arsenal’s team sheet every week. He is so important to them, and if he’s ever unavailable, the Gunners become significantly weaker.
Arsenal fans know this very well, which is why many of them are really concerned about a rumour that emerged recently.
A report from France has claimed that Real Madrid have made Saliba their priority target in 2025 and have already started talks with his camp.
That is really worrying as Real Madrid almost always get the players they target.

Arsenal fans make strong demand after Real Madrid start talks with William Saliba
Arsenal fans are desperate to not lose Saliba. They all know it would be a huge blow to the club – not just for now but for the future as well.
After reports claimed that Real Madrid are prepared to spend big to sign Saliba, Arsenal fans all took to Twitter to name their demands.
One Arsenal fan tweeted: “They should give us Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Mbappe and add £100m on top of that if they want Saliba.”
Another wrote: “The price is Mbappe, Endrick, Vinicius Jr and the Bernabeu. Thank you for your interest in our affairs.”
“£300m (single upfront payment) and first refusal on any player Real Madrid are willing to sell, for the next 20 years. Absolute minimum,” said another.
Another Gooner tweeted: “£500 million, no instalments, straight up cash. Bellingham and Mbappe and also the Bernabeu, take it or leave it.”
“No problem, £250 million + Vinicius Jr + Rodrygo and we can start negotiations,” wrote another Gooner.
Arsenal need to do one thing to keep Saliba
Saliba is arguably the best defender in the world, so links to Real Madrid are not too big of a surprise.
Back in the day, when Arsene Wenger had one of the best sides on the planet, many Arsenal players were constantly linked with a move to the Bernabeu.
Patrick Vieira was a target for Real Madrid for many years and they were obviously interested in Thierry Henry too at the time.
Arsenal managed to hold on to them back then and the way they did it was by winning trophies.
That’s what Mikel Arteta needs to do now to keep Saliba happy at the club. As long as Arsenal are winning the Premier League and challenging for the Champions League, we think Saliba will be happy at the Emirates.
