Arsenal have completed their pre-season tour of Asia.
The Gunners first went to Singapore to take on AC Milan and Newcastle United at the National Stadium there, and they won both games.
However, in their third and final game of their tour, Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, and that has annoyed many fans even though it was just a friendly.
Almost every player failed to step up on Thursday, but one of them should be seriously worried about his place in the starting lineup now.
Gabriel Martinelli could get dropped by Mikel Arteta at Arsenal
Gabriel Martinelli was described as the ‘talent of the century’ by Jurgen Klopp a few years ago.
The attacker joined the Gunners as a teenager from Ituano, who were in the fourth tier of Brazilian football at the time.
Nobody had really heard of him back then, but Martinelli made a tremendous name for himself in his debut season and became a fan favourite.
However, since the end of the 2022/23 season, the 24-year-old has struggled with form and consistency, and he looks nothing like his previous self now.

Martinelli had a really poor pre-season tour of Asia, and those performances could convince Mikel Arteta to drop him when the season starts.
That’s because Arsenal have signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea, and although the England international is naturally a right-winger, he is more than capable of playing on the left.
Madueke is expected to join the Arsenal squad once they return to London, and he is likely to be involved in the games against Villarreal and Athletic Club.
We have a feeling that if the former Chelsea man catches the eye in those two games, he will get the nod over Martinelli when Arsenal take on Manchester United in just over two weeks’ time.
Should Arsenal sell Gabriel Martinelli?
Arsenal fans wouldn’t even have considered selling Martinelli this time two years ago.
The Brazil international had just completed a 15-goal season in the Premier League, and many people felt that he would take his game to another level from that point.
Things, however, have not gone to plan since, and there are many fans who feel that Arsenal should sell their number 11 to fund a move for a better left-winger.
We would hate to see Martinelli leave without fulfilling his potential, but if a club meets his £75 million valuation, we think Andrea Berta should consider striking a deal.
Arsenal can then sign Rafael Leao, who is much better in 1v1 situations than Martinelli is.
