Arsenal take on Chelsea in a top-of-the-table clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners are six points clear at the top of the Premier League table. In second place, surprisingly, are the Blues, who have had a good start to the season.
Both teams will go into the London Derby full of confidence after beating Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the Champions League midweek.
Arsenal could further be boosted by the return of two injured players.
This is what happened in Arsenal’s last trip to Stamford Bridge
Mikel Arteta is hopeful that Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz will be back for Chelsea vs Arsenal
Arsenal had so many injuries to deal with in 2024/25, and their luck hasn’t got any better this season.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Noni Madueke have all spent time on the sidelines, while Gabriel Jesus hasn’t played a minute yet.
Kai Havertz has been out injured since the first game of the season, which has been a big blow. Viktor Gyokeres has also missed the last few games because of an injury he suffered against Burnley.

Arsenal have done well without all of the above players, and they will go into the game against Chelsea as favourites regardless of their availability.
However, the Mirror have now revealed that Mikel Arteta is hopeful that both Havertz and Gyokeres will be fit to make the squad against the Blues.
Both players are said to have undergone scans on Wednesday to help clarify their recovery timelines, and if they are declared fit, it would be a massive boost for the Gunners.
Who should start as Arsenal’s striker when everyone is fit?
Chelsea will be worried if both Havertz and Gyokeres are fit
Arsenal are such a difficult team to beat, even with their injuries. So, the last thing Chelsea would want is to see them with most of their players fit.
Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz are both match-winners on their day, and the German has already delivered against the Blues.
In the 2023/24 season, Havertz scored twice against his former club and helped Arsenal smash them 5-0 in the Premier League.
If the 26-year-old is back on Sunday, we’re sure he would love to repeat that at Stamford Bridge. That is why Chelsea should be scared.
