Arsenal fans absolutely love Ben White, but there’s some bad news coming their way.
The England international became the club’s most-expensive defensive signing in history when he joined the Gunners from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2021.
The 28-year-old was initially brought in as a centre-half and played in that role for large parts of his first season. However, since William Saliba made his debut, White has mostly played as a right-back.
He has fallen down the pecking order now, and his future is up in the air.
Arsenal are open to offers for Ben White
If you had told an Arsenal fan about a year ago that their club were ready to sell Ben White, they would’ve called you crazy.
The Englishman was unbelievable in his first three years at the club and formed a tremendous partnership with Bukayo Saka on the right flank.
On many occasions, White played through injuries for Arsenal. He gave it his all at the time, and that could be one of the reasons why he has struggled with fitness for over a year.
Despite that, fans absolutely love White and see him as a key player. That is why many are set to be heartbroken now.
The Daily Mail have revealed that Arsenal are open to offers for the versatile defender, who will enter the final two years of his contract in the summer.
Arsenal Insider exclusively revealed that Manchester City are keeping tabs on White, as are Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
Nothing will be decided until the end of the season, but we’re sure it is heartbreaking for fans to hear that Arsenal are ready to let him go.

Should Arsenal sell Ben White?
Arsenal have the best right-back in the world in Jurrien Timber.
The Dutchman has barely put a foot wrong since the start of last season, and he will be the first choice in that position as long as he is fit.
That leaves White in a difficult position. He is 28 years old and should be playing every game at this stage of his career.
However, Arsenal play over 50 times every season. Timber cannot play in all of those fixtures, which means there is room for White to get minutes.
That is why we think Arsenal should not even consider letting him go. He is more than good enough to start any game and still has a lot to offer in the famous red and white.
