Andrea Berta is already planning for Arsenal’s summer transfer window.
The Italian sporting director exceeded all expectations last year by signing eight new players, and there is a lot of excitement among the fans to see what he will do this time.
All eyes will be on incomings, but Arsenal need to make at least one big sale too. Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri have been described as players who could be shown the door.
Arsenal need to make one major sale this summer. Who are you selling and for how much?
Odegaard, White, Martinelli or someone else?
Arsenal could sell Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri this summer
Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are two massive talents produced by the Arsenal academy.
The former is still the youngest player in Premier League history, and his quality, versatility and potential have convinced people that he is a future superstar.
Lewis-Skelly is an elite talent too. The 19-year-old was Arsenal’s first-choice left-back last season and was incredible in games against Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, among others.
Both players are viewed by Arsenal fans as the future of the club, but The Telegraph have described Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly as ‘candidates for sale’ for Andrea Berta.

The two academy graduates would offer ‘pure profit’ on Arsenal’s books if they were sold, which would give them a huge boost with regard to PSR and FFP regulations.
Financially, that makes sense, especially as Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are nowhere near the top of Mikel Arteta’s pecking order right now.
However, Arsenal fans will not be happy if either player is moved on.

Arsenal fans will be furious if Ethan Nwaneri or Myles Lewis-Skelly are sold
Selling either Nwaneri or Lewis-Skelly would be a terrible decision, and Arsenal fans will be raging if it happens.
The two teenagers have the potential to become the best players in the world in their positions in the coming years, and we’re sure multiple top clubs, in the Premier League and abroad, will queue up to sign both of them.
Arsenal could get easy money now by selling the duo, but in the long-term, it simply won’t be worth it as their values will be significantly higher if they fulfil their potential.
The ideal scenario would be for Arteta to find a way to include both players in his plans next season. If he can’t, they should be sent out on loan.
Selling either Nwaneri or Lewis-Skelly shouldn’t even be considered.
