Arsenal have their own Estevao Willian in their squad but Mikel Arteta could send him out on loan

Arsenal have one of the best youth systems in the world, and they have benefited massively from it over the years.

Many rival clubs have had to spend big money to recruit top young talents. Chelsea agreeing to pay £29 million to sign Estevao Willian when he was 17 is a good example.

Without spending anything on transfer fees, Arsenal have produced the likes of Bukayo Saka, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and now Max Dowman in recent years, and that has helped save millions.

Another young player who came out of the Arsenal academy is Ethan Nwaneri, and he is destined for greatness as well.

Ethan Nwaneri could be Arsenal’s own Estevao Willian

Estevao has been the talk of the town for his brilliant performances at Chelsea this season.

The 18-year-old has scored four goals and provided an assist in seven starts, and he is being hailed as a future superstar.

Arsenal had their eyes on Estevao as far back as 2023, but the Gunners decided against making a move to sign him.

That could be due to the emergence of Nwaneri, who played many of his early games for Arsenal on the right wing during Saka’s absence, but has now moved to his preferred attacking midfield role.

Chelsea have the same plan for Estevao.

That’s according to Matt Law, who said on the London is Blue podcast: “The view in the club is very much in the next two years he will move from being a right winger to a number 10.

“They’re not concerned about where that leaves them with Cole (Palmer) and how to fit it all in at all.

“They seem to have a plan that they’re not telling me about, but they really do properly inside the club believe this lad’s a number 10. They don’t for one minute think that out on the right is his full-time position.”

Arsenal’s plan to loan Ethan Nwaneri is the right one

Arsenal are said to be considering a loan move for Nwaneri in the January transfer window.

The teenager is one of the best young talents in the world. He is right up there with Estevao and the others in terms of ability and is destined to be a star.

Is Ethan Nwaneri’s future at Arsenal?

However, at Arsenal, Nwaneri is behind Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze in the pecking order in attacking midfield, while Saka and Noni Madueke are ahead of him on the right flank.

For that reason, a loan to a club like Borussia Dortmund would be perfect for Nwaneri, and we are convinced he will perform even better than Estevao once he gets regular minutes.
