Nico Paz is one of the most exciting players in Europe right now.
The 21-year-old plays for Como in Italy, but his future is controlled by Real Madrid because of their buy-back clause.
The general feeling in recent months has been that Como will keep Paz for another year before the Galacticos bring him back.
However, there could be a change in plan now, and Arsenal could get a chance to sign him.
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
Nico Paz could be sold to a Premier League club
Real Madrid have a clause in Nico Paz’s deal that allows them to re-sign him for just €9 million.
Como are desperate to keep hold of the 21-year-old for another season, and they are planning talks with Los Blancos to turn that dream into reality.
Paz was outstanding for Cesc Fabregas’ side last season. He directly contributed to 21 goals in 40 games and helped them qualify for the Champions League.
Now, in a sudden change of plans, Real Madrid could alter his future.
Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Jose Mourinho’s side are considering re-signing Paz and then selling him to a Premier League club for a big fee.
Como are desperate for that not to happen, so they have planned a direct meeting with Real Madrid in the coming days to retain the midfielder’s services.
It remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached there. If not, Arsenal should be all over this deal.

Arsenal should sign Nico Paz
The chance of Paz suddenly being available is an unmissable opportunity.
There aren’t too many top attacking midfielders available on the market, especially ones who would comfortably fit into Mikel Arteta’s system.
Paz looks like the perfect heir to Martin Odegaard in the number 10 role, and the fact that he is still only 21 means he has over a decade left at the top level.
We think Andrea Berta should do everything he possibly can to sign Paz, even if he will cost a significant amount of money this summer.
