Arsenal are set to turn their attention to outgoings, after already signing six players this summer.
The Gunners have added the likes of Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera and Kepa Arrizabalaga to Mikel Arteta’s ranks to provide the Spaniard with more depth options in his squad.
Meanwhile, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi have all arrived in big-money moves, and are expected to play significant roles for Arsenal next season.
Now, Andrea Berta will focus on sanctioning the departures of some fringe players to raise funds for one final signing.

Gabriel Jesus is wanted by Flamengo this summer
Gabriel Jesus sustained an ACL injury back in January, and isn’t expected to return to action until later this year.
The Brazilian has been hampered by injury issues throughout his spell in North London, and this could ultimately cost him his place in Arteta’s squad.
It was revealed last week that Berta is trying to sell Jesus, after it had initially been thought that a departure for the striker wouldn’t be possible due to his fitness status.
Flamengo have emerged as the most likely suitor for the former Manchester City man, and Jesus is said to be keen on a return to his home nation.
A loan move with a buy option has been mooted, and it would certainly suit the Gunners to shift the player who won’t be able to play until at least October, but is earning a purported £265,000 a week (via Capology).
While Flamengo may struggle to meet Jesus’ wage demands, a compromise may be found that involves Arsenal covering these wages for some time.

Gabriel Jesus is still capable of playing at a high level
Alan Smith believes Jesus can still make an impact at Arsenal, which speaks to the quality of the player.
Despite being unavailable due to injury too frequently, Jesus has generally performed to an exceptional level when he has got on the pitch for the Gunners.
The Brazil international transformed Arsenal into title contenders in the first half of the 2022/23 season, and was showing signs of returning to that form prior to his injury last campaign.
| Gabriel Jesus’ Premier League Statistics 2022/23 | |
| Appearances | 26 |
| Goals | 11 |
| Assists | 6 |
| Shots per 90 | 3.31 |
| Expected Goals per 90 | 0.61 |
| Key Passes per 90 | 1.35 |
| Expected Assists per 90 | 0.17 |
While the ACL tear may hinder his athletic capabilities somewhat, and he is now 28, Jesus is certainly still capable of playing at a high level.
Exceptional at peeling into wide areas and combining, while his pressing and movement are at elite levels, he could definitely still provide value to a Champions League team in Europe.
Given how complimentary Arteta was of Jesus, he’ll be devastated to see the player opt to move away from the highest level, several years before he needs to.
