Ben White has had a difficult season at Arsenal.
After being sidelined for large parts of the 2024/25 season due to injury, the England international has had to play second fiddle to Jurrien Timber this term.
The Dutchman is arguably the best right-back in the world right now, and he will continue to be Arsenal’s first-choice in that role.
However, White will be desperate to play one game in the coming weeks – against Manchester United in the Premier League.
How much money should Arsenal demand for Ben White if Mikel Arteta decides to sell him?

Ben White will surely be begging Mikel Arteta to play in Arsenal vs Manchester United
Manchester United are on course to have another terrible season.
The Red Devils recently sacked Ruben Amorim, and Michael Carrick has replaced him as their interim manager until the end of the season.
As a part of the Englishman’s coaching staff, Steve Holland has been brought in. He was previously Gareth Southgate’s assistant when he was the Three Lions boss.
Arsenal fans know Holland very well, not because of his coaching skills, but due to his previous altercation with Ben White in the England squad.

During the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Holland reportedly said in front of the whole squad that White is not sufficiently interested in football after he didn’t know the answer to a question. (Telegraph)
White then asked to leave the England camp, and he has not played for the Three Lions since.
Now, with Holland in the Manchester United camp, we think the Arsenal number four will be banging on Mikel Arteta’s door at Arsenal, begging to start when the two sides meet later in January.
We’re sure that White would love to prove Holland wrong with a fantastic performance.

Does Ben White deserve an England recall?
Arsenal should use both Ben White and Jurrien Timber vs Manchester United
Timber is one of the first names on the team sheet, so he is not going to be dropped for a big game like Arsenal against Manchester United.
However, there is a way to use the Dutchman and White together.
Arsenal have a problem at left-back. Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie are both sidelined with injuries, while Myles Lewis-Skelly has struggled with form.
So, Timber at left-back and White on the opposite side could be the solution for the Gunners until one of Calafiori or Hincapie returns to full fitness.
We think that will really benefit Arsenal.
