Andrea Berta is just getting started at Arsenal with transfers, and Carlo Ancelotti may have just given him a big boost with one of his key targets.

Berta is well-loved by Arsenal fans following the summer transfer in which he brought seven new players to North London.

The Gunners made several high-profile additions, including Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Piero Hincapie, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke.

With the January transfer window now fast approaching, the Gunners’ Italian director will be assessing different options, and one of his targets is currently in North London.

Rodrygo Goes training with Brazil at London Colney

Carlo Ancelotti may have just helped Arsenal sign Rodrygo by calling him up to the Brazilian national team, who are currently training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.

This has allowed him to have a close look around Arsenal’s training ground and the chance to experience London life.

He could well be back on the agenda for the North London club as Arsenal Insider understands that Rodrygo remains on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.

The Brazilian winger continues to struggle for game time at Real Madrid, and a move away could soon be on the cards for him.

He has made just three starts for Los Blancos in all competitions, and is at risk of losing his spot in the Brazil squad ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

It’s understood that the 24-year-old is now unhappy with his situation at the Santiago Bernabeu, and the Gunners could take advantage.

Arteta remains keen to bring a left-sided attacker to the Emirates Stadium in the near future, with Rodrygo being potentially the perfect option.

Arsenal fans will remember when the club managed to take advantage of Mesut Ozil’s situation at Real Madrid, Alexis Sanchez at Barcelona, and now they could do the same with Rodrygo.

Mikel Arteta should trust in Leandro Trossard this season

Whilst the temptation to add another top winger in January will be high, instead, Mikel Arteta should place trust in Leandro Trossard.

Trossard has been one of Arsenal’s most underrated players this season and has already popped up with several key moments.

Away at Sunderland, Trossard scored a superb goal, which would have been a winner if it weren’t for Brian Brobbey’s 94th-minute equaliser.

The Belgian winger has stepped up when the Gunners have needed him, and Arteta should now hold off on signing another attacker until the summer.
