Transfer deadline day is fast approaching and Edu can now deliver a thrilling end to the summer at Arsenal.
So far, Arsenal’s presence in the transfer market has been rather shy with only two arrivals to report.
David Raya’s loan move from Brentford was made permanent before Riccardo Calafiori signed from Bologna to mark the Gunners’ only new face of the summer.
Now, talk is heating up once more with just eight days of the window remaining, giving Edu and Mikel Arteta the chance to provide supporters with an eventful ending.

Three signings Arsenal can complete to save the summer transfer window
Mikel Merino
The most likely capture is Mikel Merino, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the summer.
Real Sociedad’s club president was spotted in London this week to continue negotiations between the Gunners and the Spanish outfit.
Signing the 28-year-old is a huge boost for Arteta’s hopes of closing the gap on Manchester City, with his performances in LaLiga something to behold in recent years.
Arsenal’s midfield could look rather different with the Spaniard set to arrive to take Thomas Partey’s role, in what would be a significant upgrade in the middle of the park.
Victor Osimhen
The talk of signing a new striker has dominated the transfer window, with Arteta yet to find a worthy replacement for former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Robert Pires explained the difficulty of finding a striker in the current transfer climate, with Kai Havertz steadying the ship thanks to his recent form.
While many have started to accept that signing a number nine is not on the cards, links to Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen have now resurfaced, via Corriere dello Sport.
The 25-year-old has netted 76 goals in only 133 appearances for Napoli over the years, telling of his suitability to act as Arteta’s marksman in the spearhead of attack.
It would be difficult to see a deal being pulled off before deadline day however, capturing Osimhen would be a firm statement to the league from Edu, in what could only be described as a dream transfer.
Raheem Sterling
The final shock transfer of the summer could come in the form of Raheem Sterling, who will leave Chelsea before deadline day at the order of Enzo Maresca.
The Blues boss is hosting a mass exile in the squad at Stamford Bridge, seeing Sterling arise as one of the unwanted figures in the Italian’s plans.
Arteta worked with Sterling closely at Manchester City, with an opportunity there for the Arsenal boss to now reconnect with the winger, but this time in North London.

Having won four Premier League titles, the boss could pull off a masterclass by capturing the Chelsea outsider, who at 29, still has a lot to offer both on and off the pitch.
Not only could the winger offer competition to both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, but his experience at playing in and dominating the Premier League could drive the Gunners one step closer to the title.
