Arsenal’s search for the next generation of attacking talent is already well underway.

Andrea Berta is believed to be targeting players who can strengthen Mikel Arteta’s squad both immediately and in the long term, which explains why so many exciting young forwards have been linked with the club.

Eli Kroupi Junior is one of the names thought to be high on Arsenal’s shortlist, alongside players such as Morgan Rogers and Christos Tzolis.

The Bournemouth starlet would not come cheap, but the Gunners may suddenly have a way of bringing the cost down after a fresh development involving Leandro Trossard.

If Leandro Trossard isn’t Arsenal’s most clutch player, who is? 🤔

Bournemouth enquire about signing Leandro Trossard from Arsenal

Trossard’s future has become one of the more intriguing stories of Arsenal’s summer.

The Belgian played an important role in the club’s Premier League title-winning campaign, but there is growing uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the Emirates.

That is hardly surprising.

Trossard is now 31 years old, has entered the final year of his contract and continues to attract interest from clubs across Europe.

Bournemouth have now emerged as another potential destination.

According to both the Daily Mail and Ben Jacobs on X, the Cherries have enquired about signing Trossard this summer as they assess ways to strengthen their attack.

That interest is particularly interesting because Arsenal are admirers of one of Bournemouth’s brightest young talents.

Kroupi is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking prospects in the Premier League and has already generated significant interest from top clubs.

Arsenal have enquired about the young forward themselves, which creates an intriguing possibility.

Arsenal should explore a Leandro Trossard and Eli Kroupi Junior swap deal

Straight swap deals are rare in modern football, but that does not mean they never happen.

When two clubs both admire players on the other side, it makes sense to at least explore whether a compromise can be reached.

That is exactly the situation Arsenal and Bournemouth appear to find themselves in.

Bournemouth want an experienced, proven Premier League attacker who can help them immediately. Trossard, hailed as an ‘underrated’ player by Paul Merson, fits that description perfectly and would likely improve their squad from day one.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are looking towards the future. Kroupi is one of the most highly-rated young attackers in England and has the potential to become a star under Mikel Arteta’s guidance.

The Frenchman would still command a huge fee, but including Trossard in negotiations could significantly reduce Bournemouth’s demands.

Whether either club would seriously consider it remains to be seen, but on paper, it feels like a deal that could benefit everyone involved.
