Arsenal are frantically trying to get players off their books as they try to generate funds for further additions this summer.

Leandro Trossard has been told he can leave Arsenal this summer amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs and Galatasaray.

The likes of Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira are also set for moves away from the club having spent last season out on loan with Fulham and Porto respectively.

Albert Sambi Lokonga is another player that faces an uncertain future but one Arsenal star has surely left his future at the Emirates Stadium in tatters after his latest decision.

Oleksandr Zinchenko’s Arsenal future looks bleak after explosive autobiography revelations

As per the Athletic, Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has claimed that he has just endured the ‘worst season’ of his career.

Zinchenko claimed Arteta has made him feel like ‘nothing’ after becoming a regular substitute for the Gunners last campaign.

Sharing extracts from his new autobiography, the Athletic revealed that Zinchenko has stated: “In pure personal terms, it was easily the worst season I have ever experienced as a professional.”

The Ukrainian international made just 23 appearances in all competitions last season and was mainly used from the bench.

Zinchenko explained: “Every footballer started playing because they love to play the game. A big part of your life is missing without it.

“Imagine this little boy who’s dedicated his entire existence to becoming good at one particular thing and then finds at 28 that he’s essentially no longer needed, that there are others who can do the job for him. It’s not a nice feeling.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko will surely leave Arsenal this summer

Mikel Arteta runs a tight ship at the Gunners and he will not take kindly to the outburst from the Ukrainian international.

Zinchenko is considering staying at Arsenal and running down his contract until next summer before leaving on a free transfer.

However, Arsenal will now be desperate to find a solution this window and get him away from the dressing room.

Fulham have been linked with Zinchenko, whilst various clubs across Europe have also expressed an interest in the 28-year-old.

After such a positive start to his career in North London, it is extremely sad to see Zinchenko’s time at the club end on such a sour note.
