Arsenal have shown an interest in signing Manchester City winger Savinho, who is also being targeted by Tottenham Hotspur.
Andrea Berta wants to sign another winger this summer, and left-sided options are being explored, including City’s Brazilian attacker.
🤔 PICK ONE: Would you rather Arsenal signed Bradley Barcola or Morgan Rogers this summer?
Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard could both be on their way out of the Emirates Stadium this summer, and Savinho has been looked at as a replacement.
It would be a huge shock to see the Gunners really try to land the winger, given the fact that Spurs have been really chasing him.
Arsenal ask about signing Savinho on loan
Arsenal have made a surprise enquiry about signing Manchester City winger Savinho on loan, according to RTI Esporte.
However, the Gunners’ move for the 22-year-old was quickly dismissed by City, who only want to let the winger leave on a permanent deal.
The former Premier League champions still view him as a key player for the future, but would be open to letting him leave for the right money.
City are believed to have set a valuation of around £43 million on the youngster, despite Spurs offering around £65 million last summer.
Tottenham remain in discussions with City over a deal for the winger, although these talks are only at the preliminary stages right now.

It will also be fascinating to see whether the Gunners could return with a permanent offer for the Brazilian after their initial loan request was knocked back.
Savinho could be a possible alternative to Christos Tzolis, who Arsenal had been working to sign from Club Brugge.
Morgan Rogers is the main target for Arsenal at the left wing, although the Gunners could attempt to bring a second winger in this summer.
Arsenal have been tipped to hijack Tottenham’s deal for Sandro Tonali, but perhaps they could spring a surprise by instead snatching their deal for Savinho.
