Viktor Gyokeres will be the first to admit that he has had a few disappointing games this season.
It’s not easy for someone who has never played in the Premier League before to come in and hit the ground running, and that needs to be taken into consideration when judging him.
However, pundits and even some fans have jumped on the bandwagon of criticising him and are just not giving him enough credit.
We expect that view to change drastically.
Gyokeres has scored 16 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season and has helped make the Gunners the favourites to win the Premier League and Champions League.
To add to that, the striker has almost single-handedly helped Sweden qualify for the World Cup after scoring a hat-trick in the semi-final and a late winner in the final of their qualifier.

If things go to plan at Arsenal, he will also be remembered as the top scorer who guided the Gunners to their first Premier League title in over two decades and first Champions League crown in history.
