Arsenal have made it into the final of the Carabao Cup after beating Chelsea.
The Gunners picked up a 3-2 win in the first leg of the semi-final at Stamford Bridge, and they followed that up with a 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men will now face one of Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final at Wembley, and it will be a difficult game either way.
Irrespective of who makes it into the final, Arsenal should make a few changes to their side.
Which team would you rather face in the Carabao Cup final and why?
Arsenal have booked their ticket to Wembley!
The five changes Mikel Arteta must make for Arsenal’s Carabao Cup final clash
Arsenal’s squad depth is undoubtedly the best in the Premier League.
The Gunners have at least two top-class players in every position on the pitch, and on their day, even their second team can beat any side in the country.
However, in the final of the Carabao Cup, Arteta should go with his full-strength starting lineup – irrespective of whether it is against Manchester City or Newcastle United.
To do that, Arteta will have to make five changes to the side that started against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

David Raya should come back in goal for the final, even though Kepa Arrizabalaga hasn’t done anything wrong. That is the case at left-back as well – Riccardo Calafiori should replace Piero Hincapie.
In midfield, we think Kai Havertz should start in place of Eberechi Eze or Martin Odegaard, while Bukayo Saka should start on the right flank ahead of Noni Madueke.
Finally, we think Leandro Trossard should get the nod on the left wing ahead of Gabriel Martinelli to give Arsenal the best chance of winning the cup.
This should be the Arsenal XI in the Carabao Cup final: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Havertz, Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard.
Agree or disagree? This should be Arsenal’s starting XI in the Carabao Cup final!
Mikel Arteta could do something that Arsene Wenger never did at Arsenal
Arsenal are one of the most successful clubs in English football, but their record in the League Cup is shocking, to say the least.
In the club’s entire history, the Gunners have won the League Cup just two times, the last of which came over three decades ago in 1992/93.
Even Arsene Wenger, who is the greatest manager in Arsenal’s history, never won the League Cup – mostly because he didn’t really care about the competition.
Arteta is very different, and he could now do what Wenger never did and lift the Carabao Cup in March.
That could give Arsenal the platform they need to go all the way in the Premier League, Champions League and the FA Cup.
