Former Tottenham star Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Arsenal are the biggest disappointment of the Premier League campaign so far as they look set to miss out on the title.
It comes as the Gunners sit 13 points behind league leaders Liverpool, with an uphill battle being fought to win the title.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 28 | 20 | 7 | 1 | 66 | 26 | 40 | 67 | |
| 2 | 27 | 15 | 9 | 3 | 51 | 23 | 28 | 54 |
As a result, it seems as though Arsenal will have to look to next year, though Mikel Arteta won’t give up on the title race just yet.
While the games continue to flow, many have already looked to dissect the Premier League season for the North London side and where it has gone wrong.
That includes former Tottenham man Jamie O’Hara, who had a bold claim to make about Arsenal this season.

Jamie O’Hara claims Arsenal are the biggest disappointment this Premier League season
As the Premier League looks out of reach this season, plenty of fans and pundits alike have looked to understand why it just hasn’t happened for Arsenal this season.
The Gunners, after finishing twice for consecutive years to Manchester City, seemed in pole position to pip the title this time around due to the decline of their rivals.
That hasn’t been the case though and has led to O’Hara making a bold claim on the side when speaking to Sky Sports.
He said: “I think Arsenal and Man City,” when asked about disappointing sides this season.
“I think the rest of the league has done unbelievable, you look at the teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, all having great seasons, fantastic and I think the Premier League has scrunched together, the middle table teams who normally do ok and get 45 points will go and get 55, 60 points which is amazing.
“The teams at the top, they’ve dropped off. Man City have been miles off it, we know that, it’s a rebuild for them.
“The biggest disappointment is Arsenal, this was their season, Man City dropping off this was their season to go and take it and they haven’t done it.”
While Arsenal fans will be bitterly disappointed that the title race is so far out of their grasp, they will feel frustrated with being labelled as the biggest disappointment for the campaign.

Tottenham and Man United prove Jamie O’Hara wrong
While there will be some frustration that Arsenal look unlikely to win the Premier League, to claim they are the biggest disappointment seems a bit far, not least when their rivals are struggling.
Tottenham, for example, have gone from going close to a top-four finish in the first season under Ange Postecoglou to falling away.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 12 | 27 | 9 | 9 | 9 | 35 | 33 | 2 | 36 | |
| 13 | 27 | 10 | 3 | 14 | 53 | 39 | 14 | 33 | |
| 14 | 27 | 9 | 6 | 12 | 33 | 39 | -6 | 33 |
Spurs have had their issues, much like Arsenal, but they have struggled even more and there will be some clear disappointment in how the campaign has unfolded.
The same can be said of Manchester United, who have floundered under Erik ten Hag before struggling even more under Ruben Amorim.
Putting it into perspective, Arsenal will be frustrated but so long as they can continue building then they are far from the biggest disappointment.
