Mikel Arteta could soon unleash never-seen-before partnership at Arsenal, rivals should be scared

Arsenal have had so many problems with injuries this season.

Mikel Arteta hasn’t had a fully fit squad available at his disposal at any point so far – at least one player has been unavailable in every single game.

That has clearly had an impact on the results and it explains why Arsenal are six points behind league leaders Liverpool despite playing a game more.

However, there is some good news coming Arsenal’s way now.

Mikel Arteta could form a new partnership at Arsenal after Ben White’s injury return

Ben White is back on the grass and is closing in on his full return from injury.

The England international is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. He has been incredible for Arsenal and has rarely ever had a bad game.

White has been out injured since November, and Arsenal’s right-hand side has just not been the same without him, even though Jurrien Timber has done an incredible job there.

Bukayo Saka’s injury weakened Arsenal even more on that flank, and that is one of the reasons why the Gunners have struggled in attack.

However, we think a new partnership can make Arteta’s side dangerous again.

White has never started a game with Ethan Nwaneri when the latter has been given opportunities as a right winger. That could change soon.

We think White and Nwaneri can form a partnership similar to the one that the former Brighton man and Saka developed over the last few years.

If that clicks, Arsenal will destroy teams on the right wing again, and that could reignite a title charge.

Arsenal fans have not been talking about Ben White enough

There has been a lot of focus on Arsenal’s injuries this season.

Martin Odegaard’s absence made the headlines constantly when he was out injured, and the same can be said about Saka since he has been unavailable.

However, we think Arsenal have missed White more than both Saka and Odegaard this season, and nobody has been talking about him.

The dynamic on the right side of Arsenal’s pitch, both with and without the ball, is completely different with the Englishman in the side.

His overlapping runs are exceptional as well, and the fact that Arsenal haven’t had that for a few months now has had a negative impact.

Thankfully, that will change very soon as White should be back in action in the coming weeks.
