Arsenal are among the most attractive destinations in the world for footballers.

Mikel Arteta has transformed the Gunners into one of the best teams on the planet, and they have a side capable of dominating the game for many years.

That is why several players would love to move to the Emirates Stadium, and the latest to express his desire is Zenit St Petersburg star Luiz Henrique.

However, we think his dream will remain unfulfilled.

Luiz Henrique expresses his dream to play for Arsenal again

Henrique has been making a great name for himself lately.

The 25-year-old plays for Zenit St Petersburg in Russia, where his performances have earned him a call-up to Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil side.

Recently, Henrique publicly claimed that his dream is to join Arsenal. The Brazilian has done the same again now.

He told Flashscore: “I really like Arsenal, the way they play, aggressive. They play a lot on the left and right, so I’m keen to play for Arsenal.

“I’ve already spoken to Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli, they say the team is excellent, they really like (coach) Arteta.

“They say he’s always listening to the players. God willing, I’d like to have the opportunity to work with him.”

Henrique is clearly trying to push a move to Arsenal, and in Gabriel and Martinelli, he has a few friendly faces who could endorse him to Arteta.

Furthermore, Zenit are ready to sell the attacker for just €40 million (~£35m), which is a very affordable fee for the Gunners. (Coluna do Fla)

However, we think Henrique will not get his wish.

If you could sign any Brazilian player for Arsenal right now, who would it be and why?

Luiz Henrique’s Arsenal dream will surely be crushed

Henrique is clearly a talented player, and he could move to the Premier League and become a star one day.

However, it is extremely unlikely that it will be to Arsenal.

The Brazilian is a right-winger by trade, which is a position where Arteta has plenty of options at his disposal.

Bukayo Saka is the first choice in that role, while Noni Madueke, Max Dowman and even Ethan Nwaneri, who is currently out on loan, can play there.

All of the above names are younger than 25-year-old Henrique as well, which is why we don’t think he will ever get his dream move.

We expect Arsenal to stick with their current right-wingers for a long, long time.
