Arsenal know that their quest to finally land a Premier League has already begun following Liverpool’s crowning.
Andrea Berta has been brought into the club to try and steer Arsenal through what will prove to be one of the most important summer transfer windows in recent history.
Mikel Arteta is desperate to land a major trophy, with only the FA Cup triumph in 2020 currently on his managerial CV.
Arsenal want Nico Williams as part of their summer recruitment drive to improve their options in attacking areas but the Spain winger is not the only player on the list.

Arsenal linked with Bilal El Khannouss and Ademola Lookman
As per the Daily Express, Arsenal are interested in bringing Leicester forward Bilal El Khannouss in a bid to strengthen their attacking options next season.
The Moroccan international has impressed for Leicester this season despite their relegation and can play out wide or in behind the striker.
Furthermore, as per journalist Florian Plettenberg on his X account, the Gunners are also exploring a summer move for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
Lookman has previous experience in the Premier League having played for the likes of Leicester, Fulham and Everton and has impressed with 13 goals in Serie A this campaign.
How El Khannouss and Lookman compare to Nico Williams
Arsenal fans were unimpressed with Williams following his Europa League display against Manchester United and Arteta and his recruitment team have no room for error with their decisions this summer.
| Key Statistics this season | Williams | El Khannouss | Lookman |
| Age | 22 | 20 | 26 |
| Appearances | 28 | 30 | 28 |
| Goals | 5 | 2 | 13 |
| Assists | 5 | 3 | 5 |
In terms of goal contributions, Lookman is far and away the most prolific this season but there are other factors that Arteta will be considering before splashing the cash.
| Key statistics this season (per 90 mins) | Williams | El Khannouss | Lookman |
| Progressive carries | 5.31 | 2.76 | 5.71 |
| Progressive passes | 3.19 | 5.61 | 2.57 |
| Goal creating actions | 0.61 | 0.23 | 0.62 |
Williams and Lookman have the speed and creativity to take defenders on and produce chances, something the Gunners have really lacked this season against teams in a low block.
However, El Khannouss has proven to have an eye for a killer pass and his versatility may catch the eye of Berta and his team.
It may even be a case of Arsenal having the luxury of signing two of these targets this summer if Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli depart the club.
Whatever happens, margin for error is minimal and the Gunners have to get it right to bolster their chances at major silverware next campaign.
