Michael Olise heads to the Emirates Stadium in red-hot form, and Mikel Arteta must pull out all the stops to ensure Arsenal keep him at bay.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are the only three teams to still have a perfect record in the Champions League, but on Wednesday, that will no longer be the case.

The Gunners will need to be wary of Harry Kane, who has caused them plenty of issues in the past, but the French winger is one player who must not be dismissed.

Since making the switch to the Allianz Arena back in 2024, Olise has become one of the best attackers in Europe, and right now, he’s in superb form.

Mikel Arteta must make sure Arsenal are ready to face Michael Olise

Mikel Arteta must ensure his Arsenal team are ready for the challenge of facing Bayern Munich and an in-form Olise.

On Saturday, Olise produced one of the best Bundesliga performances of the season so far as Bayern ripped apart Freiburg.

The Bavarians stormed to a 6-2 win, with the French international scoring two goals and providing three assists for his team.

The 23-year-old has made a very impressive start to the campaign, with nine goals and ten assists in 17 matches across all competitions.

Riccardo Calafiori is set to be the player who will be given the task of dealing with the winger, unless Arteta springs a surprise in his team selection.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will be without the injured Gabriel Magalhaes on Wednesday, although at home to Tottenham, Piero Hincapie proved he is more than good enough to replace him.

Harry Kane’s incredible record vs Arsenal

Arsenal also face the small matter of dealing with Kane, who, of course, has a pretty stellar record against his former nemesis.

In 21 matches against the Gunners, the England captain has scored 15 goals and been on the winning team on eight occasions.

One player Arsenal won’t have to worry about is Luis Diaz, who is suspended for the Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The Colombian winger was suspended after being shown a straight red card in their win away at Paris Saint-Germain in the previous match.
