As Arsenal approach the January transfer window, there is plenty of talk surrounding which players could join the club.
However, one thing that may be forgotten is the fact that the Gunners may have to move some stars out before they can bring some in.
While Mikel Arteta has some questions about the depth of his squad, there are still plenty of quality options that aren’t being used.
With that in mind, here’s a look at three stars who should make the move away from Arsenal this January to free some funds in the transfer budget.

Marquinhos
After the success of landing Gabriel Martinelli from Brazil, Arsenal looked to strike twice on the transfer front by signing Marquinhos.
The winger joined in 2022 from Sao Paulo but has yet to hit the heights, struggling with loan switches to Norwich, Nantes and Fluminense.
With the 21-year-old set to return from his latest spell in Brazil in January, there may be an obvious move away on the cards.
Marquinhos has a deal until 2027, meaning that just a couple of years remain under contract with little view of making it into the first team.
Kieran Tierney
Kieran Tierney has been linked with an Arsenal transfer exit, as the star enters the final six months of his contract with the club.
The Gunners have opted against extending the left-back’s deal by another year, meaning that he will be free to leave in the summer regardless.
Tierney has had something of a mixed time at the club, impressing in his early years after joining from Celtic, but struggling to stay fit after.

Several battles with fitness and some loan moves all but spell the end for the Scotland international in north London.
Should Arsenal be able to land a transfer fee, it would recoup any final value they could manage from a star who is set to leave anyway.
Oleksandr Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko has struggled for minutes over the past season, with his fitness impacting his availability.
The Arsenal star helped change the side when he arrived, but he has since been on the fringes of the team.

With his struggles as of late, as well as the impact of Myles Lewis-Skelly from the Arsenal academy, he appears to have much less of an impact.
With that in mind, it could be time to move Zinchenko on to create some space and land some extra money.
