Arsenal have officially confirmed that Tim Lewis has stepped down from his role and has left the club.
The Gunners have made a few changes at the leadership level, with Richard Garlick being named as the new CEO.
Lewis, who had been at Arsenal for five years, first as a director and then as the executive vice-chair, will move on with immediate effect.
The 62-year-old did a lot of good work at the Emirates, the best of which may have come in the summer transfer window.

Tim Lewis’ last gift for Arsenal was Eberechi Eze
Arsenal signed eight new players in the summer, and Andrea Berta has earned immense praise for the work he did throughout the window.
The Italian definitely deserves his plaudits – he produced an unprecedented summer and exceeded all expectations.
Berta was heavily involved in the Eberechi Eze deal as well, but a key role to get the deal over the line was played by Tim Lewis.
Reports revealed in August that Lewis and Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish share an excellent relationship, and that swayed the deal in Arsenal’s favour.
Lewis was informed of the Eze situation throughout, even when Arsenal had initially decided against signing him.
Then, once Kai Havertz suffered his injury, Lewis contacted Parish to strike a deal, and the Crystal Palace chairman gladly obliged.
Tottenham thought they were about to land Eze, but the player’s desire combined with the work Lewis did left them empty-handed.
Eze could now prove to be the difference-maker for Arsenal in the Premier League and Champions League this season.

Josh Kroenke breaks silence after Tim Lewis’ Arsenal exit
Lewis has been closely involved with the Kroenke family for a long, long time.
The 62-year-old lawyer advised KSE when they first purchased a stake in the club in 2007 and worked closely with them until they became sole owners in 2018.
The Athletic claim that ‘Lewis is a trusted advisor to the Kroenke family, and over time, his responsibilities have extended far beyond legal matters and the club acquisition’.
Speaking after his exit, Josh Kroenke told Arsenal.com: “At this moment, we would like to thank Tim for his continued dedication and commitment to Arsenal in a period of transformational change for the club.
“He has played a pivotal role and ensured we are in a great position to continue to deliver our strategy in our ambition to win major trophies.”
