Arsenal pulled off arguably the deal of the summer as they announced the signing of Nicolas Pepe. The Ivorian will now wear the number 19 shirt, previously worn by fan favourites Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere.
Pepe has raised the spirits of around the Emirates but the expectations from Emery’s side have gone up as well. However, with six days still left in the transfer window, Arsenal still have a lot of work to do and here’s what we think would help the club move to the next level.

SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Kieran Tierney:
A name on almost every Arsenal fan’s lips, Tierney would be an exceptional signing in this summer transfer window. The saga between Celtic and Arsenal is still going on but if Edu and Raul Sanllehi can pull off the Pepe deal, they sure as hell can complete this one.
A new centre-half:
The biggest area of concern is at the back as it has been for quite some time at the Emirates. Futures of Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi are up in the air which makes the need for a new central defender more important.

Rumours of Daniele Rugani have been going around social media but the Italian isn’t better than what we have. Previously linked players like Djene Dakonam and Samuel Umtiti are still up for grabs while the futures of Armando Izzo, Kostas Manolas and Mario Hermoso have all been settled.
We can surely expect a new centre-half before the transfer window shuts but who it is, is anyone’s guess. If new fan-favourite ‘Don Raul’ can use his connections at Barcelona to pull off a deal for Samuel Umtiti, he would complete what would arguably be the greatest transfer window in the history of the club.
