Arsenal have some big decisions to make on outgoing players before the end of the summer transfer window.
Indeed, there are numerous players in this squad right now who could move on before deadline day.
Reiss Nelson has been linked to Fulham, Leandro Trossard could leave, while Fabio Vieira still needs a new home.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Alex Crook has shared an update on some potential sales at Arsenal, and, interestingly, he says that Jakub Kiwior is keen to leave the club.

Jakub Kiwior keen to leave Arsenal
Crook shared what he knows about the ongoing situations at Arsenal.
According to the journalist, both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior are keen to leave the club this summer, but Arsenal want to keep him around due to his versatility.
“Oleksandr Zinchenko is really keen to go, and so is Jakub Kiwior interestingly, but I think they want to keep him as a versatile squad player across the backline,” Crook said.
“There was a lot of chat about Trossard and clubs in Turkey or Saudi Arabia a few weeks ago, but that seems to have gone quiet. I don’t think they’re particularly advanced in selling anyone at this moment in time.”
Arsenal’s defensive depth analysed
Arsenal want to keep Kiwior due to his versatility, but there is an argument to make that the Gunners have enough cover in defence already.
Yes, Kiwior is useful due to the fact he’s a left footer and can cover both centre-back and left-back.
However, when you look at the Gunners’ depth chart, you can see that he’s not necessarily needed.
| Right-back | Right centre-back | Left centre-back | Left-back |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ben White | William Saliba | Gabriel Magalhaes | Myles Lewis-Skelly |
| Jurrien Timber | Cristhian Mosquera | Riccardo Calafiori | Riccardo Calafiori |
| Jurrien Timber | Jakub Kiwior | Oleksandr Zinchenko | |
| Ben White |
Barring a horrendous injury crisis, it’s difficult to see where Kiwior’s minutes come from this season.
Riccardo Calafiori basically does everything Kiwior does to a higher level, and, for that reason, if the Gunners get a good offer in for Kiwior, they should seriously consider selling him.
