Arsenal have been linked with Fluminense midfielder Andre, and he has now revealed his desire to move to the Premier League.
The Brazilian has been linked with a number of clubs including Liverpool, and has attracted interest as a result of his strong performances with both Fluminense and the Brazil National Team.
Andre helped Fernando Diniz’s side win the Copa Libertadores last month, and he will be in action during the Club World Cup in the coming weeks.
He has now spoken out about his future, as he is expected to make a big move in the January transfer window.
Arsenal target Andre admits Premier League desire
Speaking to journalist Ben Jacobs, Andre admitted that it is his dream to move to the Premier League.
“I watch the Premier League and it’s a big dream to play there,” he stated.
“I’m focused on finishing the season with Fluminense and realising our own dream of winning the Club World Cup. But my dream is clear, to be a Premier League player.”
Andre reportedly has an asking price of around £26m, and he has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time.
Should Arsenal sign Andre in January?

Technical director Edu Gaspar has been scouting players in his native Brazil, with Arsenal targeting a midfielder in the January window.
Douglas Luiz was a key target for the Gunners, but it seems that a deal is highly unlikely to happen given his price tag.
Arsenal have just hired a top South American scout from Real Madrid in Paulo Xavier, who was at the club when Los Blancos signed the likes of Rodrygo and Endrick from Brazilian sides, and this could indicate that the club are keen on investing in Brazilian talent.
Andre would be a cheaper alternative to Luiz, and at 22, he would arrive as a young player who has already won a major trophy for his club.
Mikel Arteta may need to prioritise adding a defender to his squad following injuries to Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber, and this may limit the budget for a potential midfielder.
If Thomas Partey leaves the club, Andre could be his direct replacement, and he will bring physicality to the base of midfield if Arsenal decide to pursue him.
Fulham are also reportedly interested should Joao Palhinha, who has also been linked with Arsenal, depart the club, and a transfer domino effect appears to be forming ahead of the winter window.
